Not sure if you read any of what was here before. It was not very well expressed - I'm sorry - but it was written in a highly motivated state.
Well - that was ok.
Here is my newest piece of perceived enlightenment.
Here in Lyttelton, New Zealand, we have just experienced our second large earthquake in 6 months. A highly unlikely scenario by anyone's standards - but it happened, and we lost our home and work premises in that last 20 second event.
As I write, we are 1 week further on. Our small port town is decimated. Over 80% of the entire commercial sector is in ruins. Most homes have suffered damage of some form, a lot are beyond repair. Many inhabitants of both Lyttelton and the greater Christchurch area have left. Apparently 70 thousand so far.
Thats the background.
We have spent the last week dragging our possessions out of a crippled building - one we were not supposed to enter - but what choice do we have? Its all we have - and we intend to save it.
However - and to the point of this page - things are going very well for us. We feel positive about the future, and it seems that many good things we have experienced would not have happened if the earthquake had not.
In the teachings we have been exposed to in the last few years, we realise that your own attitude plays a huge part in what your eventual experience of the planet turns out to disclose. That is - if you envisage a good outcome - you get one. If you choose to dwell on the best thoughts - they become your predominant experience. Whether it is the 'Law of Attraction' or not hardly matters - the idea is - why would you not wish to encourage the best outcome for yourself?
So - the words of wisdom I want you to digest are coming up. I got them from a book by Denis Waitley. If you don't know who he is - look him up. He has spent a lot of his life finding ways to enable people to do well. Athletes to Astronauts. Listening to him speak has been one of my biggest experiences.
So - here it is. The quote that will change your life if you let it. Its as much a philosophy to adhere to. In the midst of a national emergency, we have found this quote to be absolutely true. It is simple and logical - but there is great meaning here. Think about it.
"Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out".
Get with it.
Good stuff - no bad news here.!
Ok you guys - here's the lesson.
