1980 Mini Clubman LS 1100
Bought new ex-demo from dealers in Brisbane. Had 1098 with emission controls - which caused some grief. Oddly, the crank pulley flew to bits too. Otherwise fine and nicely furnished. No major problems in the time I owned it.
My first ever brand new car. Quite nice..
Tossed up whether to ship it back to NZ, but decided to sell it and use the money for more travel.
