A friend purchased a T150 off Trademe. The photos showed it had a green fuel tank. He was rather perplexed when he collected it as it had a purple tank.
It soon became obvious that it was both thanks to clever paint.
The bike was brought to me for a bit of tuning, which involved checking timing and balancing the carbs with a vacuum gauge. It seemed pretty good, and it attended the triples run of that year with no apparent problems.
Unfortunately on the way home a wiring event took place with damage to the wiring loom which was subsequently replaced.
I believe the bike is still in circulation but I have not seen it for some time.
