This very nicely built Rocket 3 had been imported from the USA in very much the exact condition it appears in the photo.
It had a new stablemate arrive in the form of the grey frame Rocket 3 featured earlier, and it seemed that the paint schemes would be better suited to the frame colours of the opposite bikes, although this one looks spot-on here.
As it later happened, the tanks and panels did change around, so this is how this bike looks today.
Mix and match is good..
