1973 TRX75 NH00719

This bike has been in my care during two owners, Allan being the second after he saw it in my workshop and asked if the current owner might sell it.
Turned out he would, and Allan adopted it in 2010 if I remember correctly.

It is a very honest and original example of relatively low miles then, and only about 3000 more since.
Other than fitting an electronic ignition I have not done any engine work on it at all, but there were a few leaks appearing from the traditional rocker box gaskets disintegrating and we were planning to attend to that and anything else we might find.
Time ran out.

There was some weirdness about the frame (chassis) number recorded by the NZTA back in the day, and I include a photo I took which makes no bones about what the number really is - so a matching numbers bike - see Carjam info below.
Although I have not sighted one to my memory, it may refer to a VIN number instead.

The photos above and below were taken shortly before the bikes went into storage, and I have only seen in the container once since.
There were the beginnings of oxide starting to appear on the timing case, but nothing severe, and no rust on the mufflers which pleased.

It would be a timely thing if the bikes were not exposed to another winter in a container though.
I can pretty well guarantee that the mileage is original from my long relationship with this bike.
