1969 A75R XC00838

This was Allan's signature bike and to my mind the best of the collection.

It is both very original - apart from the pearl white which was a nod to the TT track marshall's bikes - and has had some serious attention to overall performance.

The engine has carillo rods, gasflowed head, 5-speed gearbox (B type), plus we fitted 'sidecar' fork springs which stiffen the front end and add cornering clearance.

I did work on the cylinder head which now has alloy rocker box gaskets fitted.

Room for a lot of air...

The majority of the engine work was carried out by the man that Allan bought the bike from in Christchurch, pretty sure it was balanced but cannot swear to it.

No idea what mileage it did in Allan's hands but that may be apparent from the registration document when new ownership takes place.

Rego is on hold and plate is "A75R".

All is as it should be...

Very unique Rocket 3 which is known up and down the country - as was Allan.

Not sure of realistic asking price at this time - TBA when Beth returns from current travel.
